Mama Africa
This was a learning exercise for me. I wanted to expend my skills by getting behind a camera and shooting something fun. The art direction was inspired by the opening credits of the movie Superbad. I wanted the track to be different and home-based. Since sentimentality can get the best of a designer, I chose the Song Pata Pata by the late legend Miriam Makeba. The song and visuals are so contagious, you can’t help but dance along.
